Strips and polka

It is amazing the things you discover just from reading. Before I penned down my thoughts on this outfit, I decided to research the term polka dot, and I discovered that polka dot originated from the popularity of the polka dance, who knew? Polka dot is a timeless classic, it’s fun, youthful and very easy to mix and match.

Previously, I talked about a polka dot skirt here where I styled it with another print. Today I’ll be talking about this crop top I found on Shein. Even though crop tops aren’t a personal favorite because I don’t like showing my midriff but there’s just something delightful about this one. Maybe it’s the twist in front or perhaps the bow at the back that convinced me whichever it was I’m grateful to be the proud owner of this top.

Anyways, it can be styled with anything high waisted (pants, skirt, culottes, shorts, palazzo you name it).

Today, I decided to pair it with my high-waisted pinstripe pants to flaunt only a hint of skin – remember when I styled it here. To finish this look I added my burgundy strap heels. I hope you like this outfit and thanks for stopping by.
