DIY | Off-white belt

One of 2017 best trends was the off-white industrial belt. Some of you might have come across this super-lengthy belt on Pinterest, Instagram or Twitter been styled by your favorite fashion bloggers or A-listers making it a desirable statement piece. Unfortunately, the cost of this belt could leave my account statement with a heart attack currently at $210 and if you know anything about me it’s that if something is too pricey and I want it I just go right ahead and make it myself; I shouldn’t have to break the bank to look stylish.

In order to make one for yourself just like I did

Here’s what you’ll need:

1. Off white industrial tape 35mm

2. 2 D ring metals 35mm each

3. Needle and black or yellow Thread or

Preferably a Sewing machine

put both D ring metals in the industrial tape 2 inches away from the edge

  • Double fold the edge of the tape and secure with a pin
  • Sew from one end to the other

You have your finished product which only took 5 minutes and cost $10, talk about a great bang for your buck.

There are various ways to style this super lengthy belt, i looped mine around the waist of my oversized denim jacket.

It can also be used as a standard belt with pants, Another sexy way to pull this belt off is to loop it over a shirt dress, or a loose boring dress To toughen up the look

What do you think about this belt trend? Keep or trash
