Styling my camel coat with a pop of color

My first few weeks in the United States I purchased a couple of neutral coats to get me through the fall season. Living in California I didn’t need a lot of coats to get me by and besides I never went anywhere, so I was okay with the few I had. This was because I wasn’t planning on spending money on things I didn’t need.

I looked the other way whenever I saw a cute coat that I liked until I was grocery shopping at Target one day and I walked through the clothing aisle window shopping when I saw this camel coat. I couldn’t resist as I was completely won over. Long story short it made its way home with me and we’ve been happy ever since.

This camel coat is classy and stylish, it’s what every girl’s closet needs – great quality, would last one a couple of years and it is also a great investment because I find myself wearing it over almost everything from bright to neutral colors, dressing up or down etc.  and every time, I stood out from the crowd.

There’s something about the camel coat that speaks pure sophistication. Today I’ve paired it with a plum shirt and green pant from H&M. I love colors and I’m not afraid of wearing them in winter.

This outfit is proof that a pop of color goes a long way in keeping an outfit interesting.

  1. I always thought colours are loud and too busy but you just made me realize it can be cool and interesting. I can’t wait to try it out.
